What we do with your details.

Not much, and only what you'd expect. This page says exactly what that is.

What we collect

Only what you type into our website. In the contact form: your name, company, email address, phone number if you give it, roughly what you spend on energy, and your message. If you sign our letter of authority online: the details on it (your business, its company number and addresses, your email address and phone number, your name and position) and the signed letter itself. That's it. We don't collect anything you haven't chosen to tell us.

Why

To reply to you about the thing you asked about, and, if you've signed a letter of authority, to act on it: asking your energy suppliers, network operators and data providers for your energy data, as the letter sets out. We use your details for that and nothing else. We won't add you to a mailing list, and we won't pass your details to anyone else for their own use.

Where it goes

When you send the form, your details are filed in Pipedrive, the system we use to keep track of enquiries, so the right person at Verant can pick it up and get back to you. If that link isn't working, the form opens your own email app instead with the message ready to send, and it reaches us as an ordinary email.

A letter of authority you sign online goes the same way: the details and the signed letter are filed in Pipedrive, and you download your own copy. If that link isn't working, the page asks you to email the letter to us instead.

How long we keep it

For as long as we're dealing with your request and any work that comes from it. If you'd like it gone sooner, tell us and we'll delete it.

Cookies and tracking

None. This website sets no cookies, and there is no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind on it. Two things happen in the background that are worth knowing about:

• The lettering on the site is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google for the font files. Google's own note covers what it sees in that request.
• Like every web server, ours keeps a short-lived log of requests (the address they came from and the page asked for) so we can keep the site running and secure. It isn't used for anything else.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email ross@verant.co.uk and we'll sort it. If you're not happy with how we've handled your details, you can also raise it with the Information Commissioner's Office.

Verant is a trading name of Asset-Wise Ltd, registered in Scotland, company number SC372524. Registered office: Unit 3, Block 4, Newhouse Industrial Estate, Motherwell ML1 5SY. Asset-Wise Ltd is the data controller for anything you send us through this site.
